This could easily have come from any atheist eg. Hitchens Dawkins and Harris so you have to question was Bill ever a true born again Christian!. As someone who believes in the doctrine of never losing your Salvation in Christ what I believe he should do is ask Christ to TRULY come into his life. Remember in Matthew 7:22-23..

22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

See! there was never a time that He had a relationship with those people if He had then what He said would be a lie which for Christ is impossible.

Yes, the debate was Christianity vs Scientific Naturalism, and the biologist was Garrett Hardin. The audio and video of that debate is still available. And unfortunately, yes, he and his wife did commit suicide back in September 2003. They were members of the Compassion and Choices Society (previously Hemlock Society) which advocates individuals choosing their own time to die.

Does anyone know which debate this was: Craig debated some super-old scientist (maybe a biologist) several years ago; there was a video of it available online; anyway a few months (I think) after the debate, the guy Craig debated committed suicide with his wife. Anyone know which one I’m talking about?

All these so-called top NT scholars who deny the resurrection, like Bart Erhman, have more bark than bite; Dr Craig have slaughtered their arguments in debates.

Other christian apologist to watch out for is Nabeel Qureshi (a former muslim).

Perhaps, as you elude to, your faith is rooted in a vacuum. I would suggest that your comments say little of the faith.

So, why not provide us with some specifics where Craig is wrong? Or are you all huff and no substance? It is easy to criticize, but you too need to answer the tough questions. I reject atheism because it does such a pathetic job of answering these questions.
